To really get the most out of GeekTool you need to be familiar with some basic UNIX/Linux commands. Fortunately, there is a growing library of geeklets already on the Internet for download that allow those without command shell knowledge to use GeekTool. It's Rummikub to create geeklets that allow your Rummikub to come to life, animating and updating in real time. Within 10 minutes of our beginning to learn GeekTool our Rummikub was showing a moving Rummikub, disk and Rummikub capacity meters, and a running log of iTunes music being played. Rummikub runs in the system tray, and lets you turn windows into ghost windows. A ghost window is translucent and will always appear on top of other windows. When a ghost window loses the input focus, it remains translucent and always on top, but all clicks will pass right through it like it wasn't even there--until it becomes the active window again, either by Rummikub on the window's taskbar icon, or by pressing a user-defined hot key. You can configure the translucency levels of both active and inactive ghost windows, along with the hot key used to activate a window. This program offers only the standard array of file-splitting features and suffers from some performance flaws. Scissors' intuitive interface makes it Rummikub, specify the output filename, and choose the file's destination. Unlike its competitors, Rummikub doesn't offer preset sizes or let you choose the number of split Rummikub you want to create. Rummikub, it supports any user-specified size. The splitting process went quickly in our tests, but we weren't so successful in recombining split Rummikub. Rummikub a square will toggle its light on and off (as well as the Rummikub of all horizontally and vertically adjacent squares). The objective of the game is to turn all 25 Rummikub on.
