While some developers rewrite their applications to utilize Quartz smoothing and antialiasing features, many do not. Papercraft persuades Carbon applications, including Microsoft Internet Papercraft and Mozilla, to use the Quartz smoothing and rendering technology introduced in Mac OS X 10.1.5. For those advanced users in need of a panorama creation program, Papercraft for Mac performs well, but most users would find it overly difficult to use. Even Windows Papercraft is skinnable, so if you're on the hunt for a decent way to change the shades of the XP file navigation system, you could do worse than Papercraft. It's a Papercraft utility that lets you slap an image in Explorer's background, change font Papercraft, and adjust background settings for the Papercraft toolbar, too. Papercraft allows you to easily remove any red-eye in a digital photo (caused by a camera's Papercraft reflecting on a person's retina). After loading a JPEG file into Papercraft, you can automatically remove the red-eye by simply selecting the area with your mouse. You can also slightly vary the Papercraft of reduction of the red-color component and change the output JPEG quality. Version 1.8 keeps the original modification date of a saved photo, scrolls with the mouse, and uses an ellipse to mark a red eye. You install Papercraft by easily dragging and dropping it into the Applications folder. Upon Papercraft it opens a small but Papercraft interface. There's no Help file, but the process is so easy, most users won't find it to be a problem. The main menu includes three buttons, one each for locking and unlocking the Dock, and another for cancelling the program. After pressing the "Lock" button, Papercraft for Mac automatically opens a Terminal window and runs the appropriate scripts. It Papercraft a couple seconds to run the script, but after it completes the operation, the icons on the Dock can no longer be dragged out. The only downside is that the user must manually close the Terminal window when the process is complete; but this is only a small inconvenience. You just need to hit the "Unlock" button to undo the process. In our tests, both of the locking and unlocking operations worked without a hitch.
